Adapted from, and designed to replace the PGA Tour-proven SS-02 model, the SS-2.5 features the new ST-385™ "Hot Face" alloy. The new face alloy will increase ball velocity at impact while adding 10-15 yards to the distance for Tour-level players. The perimeter weighting system has also been improved, which further tightens the dispersion of errant shots and makes the club easier to get airborne. The SS-2.5 fairway wood is a mid-face model, which makes it ideal for low to high handicappers alike who want a slightly higher launch product.

"The SS-2.5 is really designed to fit a wide range of players," PGA Tour Representative Thane Fisher said. "The mid-face produces a high-launch and low-spin ball flight which will make it easier for mid-to-high handicappers to get the ball airborne while also providing penetrating distance for the low handicappers and professional-level players."
